Abstract

The article presents promising musicological approaches to the study of the content and form of opera works. The phenomenon of opera melos is segregated, the specific nature of the opera melodic thematism is determined, the key categories of vocal and interpretative analysis of the text of the opera are developed. There are three basic semantic level operatic compositions and methods for their characteristics.
