Abstract

It is found out that piano-performing creativity is one of the priority subjects of study in modern musicology and culture science, at the same time it needs systematization of the conceptual side of scientific discourse. The key methodological positions in relation to the process of piano interpretation as the basis of performing creativity are determined, the categories of pianistic style, language-stylistics, thinking are singled out, the duality of the phenomenon of performing tradition as connecting author's and national-style beginnings is discussed.
