Abstract

The subject of the article is the problem of duma-ballad genre interpretation in the Lyatoshynsky’s Second Symphony. The cognation of genre specificity of the duma and ballad was marked. The analysis of the phenomenon duma and ballad genre of the composer’s interpretation in the Lyatoshynsky’s Second Symphony is made.
