Abstract

The article considers  the composition and performing innovations in the piano work of  Prokofiev on the example of the fifth piano concerto. The phenomenon of «new pianoforte»  in the context of piano instrumentalism, technique and technology of composition is considered. I dentifies  aspects of the rethinking romantic interpretation of the piano in favor of natural impact.
