MUSIC-DRAMATURGIC FUNDAMENTALS OF IMAGING SYNTHESIS IN THE OPERA (BASED ON RUSSIAN OPERA OF THE XIX CENTURY)
Abstract
Research objective of the study is to prove the priority role of musical drama in the implementation of opera figurative design and action, the disclosure of those special musical-compositional mechanisms that ensure the importance of opera as a topical musical-dramatic phenomenon. The methodology of work is determined by a combination of historical, compositional-analytical and aesthetic approaches, provides for the deepening of the hermeneutic perspective of opera, in particular the introduction and development of the concept of reinnovation as a leader of the epistemological method. The scientific novelty is determined by the definition of opera image synthesis, which is interpreted as the center of the musical concept of the opera and the main artistic and aesthetic task of the opera genre. The idea of figurative synthesis is revealed as the main factor of opera composition in the formation of semantic and formative guidelines of Russian classical opera. The significance of the collective figurative principle is clarified, which is most often presented in a positive actant plan – as an image of the people, it appears as a “starting point” in building a system of individual character characteristics, in particular in the distribution of musical thematic material. Conclusions. The approach to the study of figurative drama in opera proposed in this article allows, firstly, to reveal the artistic and aesthetic integrity of opera composition in the process of its evolution and acquisition of typological features, and secondly, to testify to the fundamental importance of musical beginnings, musical factors – to affirm the concept of musical concept as leading to determine the nature of opera image synthesis. The phenomenon of figurative synthesis in opera is revealed in two main planes, collective and individual, each of which has its own mechanisms of generalization and typology, depending on the genreaesthetic modality of the opera composition. Based on the concept of musicalthematic script of the opera, an in-depth analytical approach to the musicalintonational content of the opera image is proposed.
