Abstract

This article provides an overview of possibility to gain an insight into the system of thinking of such art form as music. Conceptualization of elementary units of musical language provides the basis which denominates seminal-expressive foundation of the very fact of existence of music as a form of art. In this regard, specific function of musical language elements is emphasized, namely: semantics of every element of musical language is primordially being an act of creation: sound, rhythm, texture, harmony, melodics, tone, register, dynamics etc. Based on the opposing schools in the system of artistic thinking: East-West, it becomes possible to enter systems organization of each of the extremes assumed. Different types of musical thinking give ground to estimation of seminal-expressive structure of different types of thinking, ranging from the sound to the whole morphogenic process of stylistic harmony.
