For the implementation of the purpose in the work used a set of interrelated methods: analytical — for processing and analysis of scientific literature on the topic of the study of domestic and foreign authors on philosophy, cultural studies, art studies, psychology, which cover the theory and concepts of cognitive psychophysiological processes in the formation of an executive mastery of pianists; generalization — to systematize key concepts of the article, conceptual provisions and results; art studies — to understand the essence of the performing arts of pianists. Scientific novelty is to determine the psycho-physiological cognitive processes of pianists in the context of the formation of performing skills; the definition of each psycho-physiological cognitive process in the mastery of performing skill, taking into account the individual level of development, which makes it possible to influence the use of the performer’s individual potential ability to quickly achieve his goal. Conclusions. The knowledge of objective reality, as well as human life, is carried out with the help of psychophysiological processes in their unity. However, among them there are more complex and less complex. Each of the cognitive psycho-physiological processes has its own qualities and regularities and can act in the mental activity as a leading or as auxiliary. A promising direction for further exploration on this topic, we consider a detailed study of those types of psycho-physiological processes on which the performance of pianists depends.
